Red dots with C-More RTS footprint

(3 products)

The C-More RTS or C-More RTS/STS footprint is popular especially among red dots for competitive shooting. And in this category you will find all the red dots that use this footprint. In other words, all the red dots in this category will work on any mounting device with C-More RTS footprint.

*Some of the red dots with C-More RTS footprint have longer body than the C-More RTS standard. That can be a problem with some specific optics rady plates, as such red dots dont have to fint the cut in the slide at all. Make sure to check the compatibility of red dot and optics ready plate before buying one - in the compatibility list of each product it is always up to date and correct.

Why is footprint important?

Because footprint determines the compatibility of the red dot.

If you want to install a red dot to your pistol - wheter it is optics ready pistol or classic pistol - you need to know what footprint does the red dot have. Based on the footprint you will be able to find matching adapter plate [for Optics Ready models] or adapter mount [for classic models].

Which brands use the C-More RTS footprint?

Its called C-More RTS footprint because it was first time used on the C-More red dots: one of the first red dots for competitive shooting available on the market.

The footprint as such is however not connected with any specific brand. Usually you will find manufacturers using different footprints for different red dot models of their production line. Why is that? Because specific footprints are preferable for specific shooting requirements and gun size.

Today you can find many manufacturers using this same footprint: Kahles, Delta Optical, Kite Optics, Sig or Vector Optics. And of course, C-More.

Can you mount red dot with C-More RTS footprint to your gun?

That depends whether or not there is existing optics ready plate or red dot mount for that very gun, and for the specific footprint.

Just remember that
